I discovered Jerk Cafe at the Taste of the Caribbean festival and it did not disappoint. The jerk chicken was authentic in flavour and plentiful. The team friendly team has encouraged me to drive miles to Rochester to eat their food again! Well impressed!

Fantastic evening at the Jerk Cafe! The service was fantastic. We had some lovely curry mutton, rice and peas and coleslaw. Curry was really well seasoned, a little spicy and the mutton was delicious. We ordered a few pitchers of rum punch which I definitely recommend for taste and value - they’re huge (and not just full of ice!). There was a live DJ who was awesome - he even took some requests towards the end of the night as we partied with the staff. 10/10, will be back, do doubt!

Hidden gem!! Authentic food and great flavours. I’ve wanted to try this place for a while and looking forward to going again. Dee took care of us, the full VIP experience. Everything we ordered was great. I have the ackee & salt fish, rice & peas with Jerk wings for start. The wings were tasty all the way through, you could tell had been marinated. Fish was sweat and salty. I was jealous of the oxtail my mate ordered. I’ll have to come back for that and the mutton.
