Tried this coffee spot in the neighbourhood and loved the savoury options we chose, the Hackney and Finsbury toast were outstanding. The lemon and poppy seed cake was a bit small and the lattes were a little cold, but overall it was a nice experience. Will definitely give it another try!

We were treated with a very warm welcome. We ordered 2 latte's which reviews said were incredible coffe. They were not wrong, the aroma was extraordinary. Flavour was smooth and we indulged in a second cup each. Food. I fancied a full English breakfast, and despite it being 2.15pm, the cafe did all day breakfast 🎊 The food came out on a proper big dinner plate. O my word. It had everything, great bacon, superb sausage, eggs, black pudding, beans, fried mushrooms, half a huge cooked tomato and sourdough bread toasted. It took five to 10 mins to arrive so I need it had been cooked fresh. And it

After being abroad for a few weeks, we were hungry for a good cooked breakfast whilst staying in the area. This cafe was an excellent choice. Friendly welcome from the owner. Good coffee and an excellent full English. The owner obviously cares about the quality of ingredients, such as where he buys eggs. All excellent flavour. My wife had 'finsbury toast' also excellent with plenty of eggs, avocado and haloumi. It was a nice morning, so ate in the large garden. Recommended and we will return next time we are in the area. 😊

Rather pleasant for passing the time of day . The immensely handsome front of house waiter was pleasant and efficient, indeed his smile drew me into the cafe in the first place. Waitresses pleasant . The manager/owner ( also handsome) was a bit stressy which affects ambience, but when he smiled he changed the feel of the cafe and brought delight into the room ... It has a Bohemian, thrown together feel that works for relaxed and distinctive. Fascinating mixture of people in and out. The coffee was fine. The eggs on toast was fine too, though could have done without the extra sea salt for me
