When I say this place is THE BEST Chinese restaurant in south wales, I mean it. I’ve lived in Cardiff, London, Manchester, no one does it like Shanghai Chef. I feel so lucky to live local to this legend. Always fantastic portions, friendly service and incredible food. I couldn’t eat Chinese food if it didn’t come from here. Shame to hear Steve has left! We was great at customer service and always made us feel welcome.

Disgusting!!! Food was nearly an hour late chips and chicken raw!!! Everything soaked in Greece no taste at all!!! Really upset by this experience as I was refused a refund as well vile vile place

I’ve been meaning to leave a review here for a short while. This place has never let us down. We mainly collect, but even when we get a delivery it’s always been on time. The service is always great, friendly and helpful staff, always happy to see you come in. The main event is the food of course, and again, I’ve not had a bad meal from here. It’s worth the journey if you’re not in the immediate area 🙌

Absolute jokers. Warning to anyone thinking of getting food delivered from them. So to start with I waited over an hour, called them at which point they said it left the restaurant 20 mins ago, called again 30 mins later to ask where it was, was told it was still on the way. Told him the food was obviously going to be cold after being in the car for 50 mins. He argued with me. I asked to cancel the order. He said ok then and then still tried to charge me for the food. Fortunately managed to sort the refund out with uber after a lot of hassle. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
