Lovely pub next to a canal. The young bar lady we met was so helpful and nice and a real asset to the pub. It is also very dog friendly. We are staying overnight free as long as you eat or drink in the pub. With a big car park there is plenty of space. The home made food is very good and lots of it. Just met with the landlady and can see why it's such a great place she also was lovely. Great atmosphere and we will be back again thank you. Back for a second time just as good as before with a karaoke night on Wednesday as a bonus 👍👍👍👍

Fantastic lamb Sunday dinner. By far the best I've had. Hoping to book again with family. Possibly easier to book via phone as Facebook messenger replies are slow or non existent. Service was outstanding. The young man who took our order from our table was extremely polite and attentive. I would recommend.

A nice little pub, A great welcome break from travelling the Grand Union Canal. Would have been nice to be able to have a “Sunday roast”, But the Bacon Burger was an okay replacement. One great thing is accessibility by boat as mooring is directly outside the pub.

Fantastic reception today from very friendly and attentive staff. So pleased to see this establishment open again as this used to be our meeting point when visiting Thurmaston. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are very laid back, yet attentive and oh so friendly and approachable. The atmosphere is laid back and the background music at an acceptable level. Just a couple of minor points, the menu was difficult to read.
