Sad to say, our afternoon meal was terrible. We have eaten here many times and could not fault the quality, portion size and presentation. On this occasion, our experience was shockingly bad. The front of house are exempt from criticism as they were absolutely fine and understanding. They were themselves, embarrassed with what the chef threw on the plate. Our starters should have been Brie Wedges. They arrived cold and when we bit into the first of 5, it was hollow! The rest were exactly the same... Don’t bother going here if you want hot food! It’s over rated over priced and not good ingredients. We went yesterday for breakfast. The food was cool not hot the sausage was poor the bacon wafer thin. The best part of the breakfast was the toast actually hot. Waiting time was stupid. It wasn’t even busy so no excuse for cold food. For 2 small breakfast one large breakfast and drinks 70 pounds. Definitely not worth the money go elsewhere.

We had a private event following my mom passing away, so used the conservatory for this. From initial inquiry, the whole booking process was made so easy, even with us having a celebrant leading our celebration, some special music playing and having guests with dietary requirements, nothing was too much trouble. The food was a mix of hot and cold, all delicious and plentiful, topped up as needed. Thanks to all the staff, especially Cody in the advance planning and Kirsty who was amazing on the day. All of our guests echoed these comments, would recommend and use again if needed.

We recently came for their Mamma Mia bottomless brunch and sadly we were left very disappointed. While we have dined here many times over the years and had great experiences I would not return for their bottomless brunch again. The mamma Mia singer was great and the room was decorated beautifully. In our entire sitting we had only two cocktails, they did also offer prosecco however most of our table does not drink prosecco meaning cocktails were our only option. The cocktails were lovely however the wait times were very extremely long, we had to chase up our drinks several times. The waitres
