Absolutely love to pop in when I get the chance to be in town. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the food is very nice too aswell as nice selection off cold drinks. Lovely quiet spot by the river, nice seating area outdoors where you get some wonderful sunny spots as well as some shade. Indoors I love the quirkiness of it, lovely deco. ☺️

Walking through Woodlands garden on this hot day came across this place and thought I'd investigate and so glad I did. Loads of outside furniture was hot so decided to sit inside which was all open,got a warm welcome and friendly smile from the staff which warmed me and the whole atmosphere was relaxed I ordered tea and a poached eggs with sour dough and bacon I ordered after breakfast time but were pleased to do it for me going the extra milel.Was lovley and clean inside and very twerky with a large selction of delights on the menu and selction of cakes and drinks.Was steadying trade but my

Soup and coffee were really good. Feedback on accompanying sourdough bread with soup: bread seemed to have been pre-cut for ease but meant the texture had staled. Still edible but would have have been much nicer if it had been toasted. Price wise, £12.15 for a soup and coffee. £8.40 for soup is a bit saucy. I would return, but it wouldn’t be too often for anything more than a coffee.

An impromptu trip to Taunton and we discovered this gem. We couldn’t fault it, lovely atmosphere and decor, nice service, great coffee and food. A cafe not to be missed if you need a brew and / or a bite to eat.
