It was so great to finally find a decent fish and chips after being underwhelmed at 3 coastal locations we tried in Holyhead, Ayr and Ryde we had almost lost hope. Great value for money, great service and the best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time anywhere other than Bridlington. Well deserving of the high average rating based on our experience at 3pm on a weekday. Photo is a large Haddock and small Cod.

Our go to chippy since moving to the area two years ago. Food always hot and tasty, good portion sizes. Shop is very clean and staff are polite and efficient. Fancied a change from fish and chips so had Doner meat and chips, it was lovely, meat was juicy and well seasoned, my daughters fish was crispy on outside and moist inside. Definitely worth a try

Haddock was not freshly cooked, fish was dry. Chicken burger was cold and tasteless as were the chips. We only live a short distance away so expected food to be hot. Really gone down hill from when it first opened. Won't buy from there, again

So disappointed. The smells were delicious but the fish ( cod and chips) were terrible. The fish itself was ok but the batter was flat not fresh and the chips tasted like they’d been reheated & reheated. Very, very disappointing.
