We were at a table on the left of the bar. The service was quite inattentive. After initially being asked what drinks we would like and for the food, we had to keep walking round to the other side of the bar to get service. We had to wait an hour for food and when it did come, the chips were cold on all the dishes. I think it’s good practice if there is such a long wait to let the customers know. Came here today our first time here and can absolutely say we've had a lovely time food was absolutely beautiful we had the creamy garlic mushrooms and the cornfed chicken risotto and husband had the same creamy garlic mushrooms with the cottage pie followed by the banana split was gorgeous and will definitely be back in the future also thank you to the staff who were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us its a beautiful place too thank you.

Me and my family love the Wagon. The staff are excellent and friendly, food is very good and the building itself is lovely inside. If you’re ever in uppermill and can get a table it’s a must!

I went in the wagon last night to have a meal. Two of us with a £50 voucher Which they honoured as we lost it bought through producing bank statements and emails it was redeemed so we went we arrived at the reception for 10 minutes before somebody came and directed us to the table. We then sat down at the table and a very nice very nice lad asked me what do we want to drink? Another 20 minutes went by then. A young girl asked us. Would we like to order? I said yes blah blah blah. I had a rag pudding and chips, peas and gravy. My partner had the hamburger. The rag pulling made an appearance 40
