Visited the East Orient Chinese Restaurant with my family to celebrate my wifes 65th birthday. Lovely warm and cogenial atmosphere, clean and well laid out. Buffet style food with loads to choose from to cater for eveyones needs. The staff were very polite and helpful and attended to us with a smile. We all came away full and content and will definitely return.

For a Chinese buffet, it was fine and as expected. As someone who paid £73 for two adults and a child to have the grand buffet and 4 glasses of Pepsi between us (£16) I found it overpriced. The food was ok, if not tinged with a slight sogginess, but it was alright. Nothing more. Service was very good, but I couldn't justify the price and left feeling I should have gone somewhere else.

Food was great, good variety from Chinese to Indian and basic English food (chicken nuggets, chips etc). My reason for 2 stars was the waitress with the ponytail and slight build was not nicest host. Very rude, tried to get us to make our own drinks. Miserable face and she started pointing our direction. I don't understand why literally turned to eat, showed respect and manners. so we were confused about her attitude. Other workers were good but after the fly gate i wont be returning.
