Very nice cafe, good selection of sandwiches and cakes, and the coffee is really good (Barrista style coffee). There is plenty of outdoor seating so I can imagine it gets very busy in the summer. I visited on a sunny January afternoon and after the short walk I was warm enough to sit outaide. Not sure where the nearest car access is, but it was 10 minute walk from the Shipley new build estate. £11 for a panni and coffee is the usual rate for a cafe. Dog friendly to. A Very peaceful quaint British cafe, as good as it gets!

Visited here today and was looking forward to it but was disappointed to be honest. The staff weren't very welcoming. I'm looking at other reviews and they have said the staff are friendly so maybe it's me. The panini is very plain with a handful of crisps. There's no little touches like coleslaw. All served on paper. At closing time we were told to leave as they had kids to pick up. Fair enough but it could have been said in a nicer manner. Then 2 walkers turned up and were refused even a piece of cake to take away. I won't be hurrying back. Sorry...I don't normally do bad reviews but it did

Lovely little cafe. I like that you have to wonder through the park to find this place. The cafe building itself is quite small but there is plenty of outdoor seating, most of which is undercover either under a gazebo or an umbrella. We only had coffee's and a scone but both were great and the service was fast. The staff are very welcoming and dogs are welcome too. A hidden gem.

Disappointed by the Changes I’ve been visiting this café a couple of times a year and always looked forward to the charm and experience. However, I was very disappointed during my latest visit to see that they’ve started serving everything on paper plates and in paper cups. If I wanted a takeaway-style experience, I’d have gone to McDonald’s. Sadly, what used to feel like a cosy little café has now lost its appeal and feels more like a takeaway. Such a shame to see it change for the worse. 2 coffees & 2 sausage cobs about £15
