Such a nice place decor is homey, the staff very welcoming and friendly. I'm lactose intolerant and catered to my needs with no problems. The Gammon was sensational! Very reasonably priced, highly recommend! Plus the Xmas menu looked amazing too!

Very pleasant experience. Helpful and attentive staff. Lovely location. I thought the sandwiches were expensive but when they arrived I could see why; they came with fries, salad, and coleslaw. Overall very pleasant lunch in lovely location on a beautiful day.

Disappointed! Usually love this place but today I was utterly disappointed, not sure if its due to a change of hands but during the carvery the employee serving was more interested in talking to the young bar staff and just left us standing there waiting, and then the gravy was shocking! Basically just water which ruined the whole meal completely. To see they’ve put there prices up but the standard of food has gone down is very disappointing.

Had the pleasure of visiting on Sunday with my husband for the first time and wont be our last. I had the carvery and my husband had lasagne. Food and service both exceptional. This is now my favourite carvery in the area. Highly recommend!
