Just spent 3 nights at the Premiere Inn Whitstable. Since my last visit they have added a new restaurant within the hotel, The Social. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, I would recommend going for the Meal Deal, as its excellent value for money, all in all, a very pleasant stay.

Cannot fault the staff, each and every one of them are very friendly, always happy to chat to you, extremely helpful, made our stay even better. Love The Social room inside the hotel, their own cafe, very well decorated, inviting, food we had was done very well, no complaints on that score. The rooms are in the process of being upgraded, so next time we stay, we will have even more comfort in the room. The bathroom in our room got incredibly steamy, water dripping from everywhere, but hopefully that wont be the case with the new rooms

Whitstable is a very tired hotel. Room basic even by Premier Inn standards. Thread bare carpet, only one chair, the only heating is one small convector heater in bedroom no heating at all in bathroom. Breakfast is no longer self service for cooked items. One poor waitress taking your order and serving in the whole restaurant. Our breakfast was very slow. It sat under hot lamps for some time before the one waitress could bring it to our table due having to take other guests orders. Hence bacon very dry and poached eggs over cooked and rubbery. I am Disgusted with this Premiere Inn. We booked for 3 nights and one would think that your bed would be remade and Toilet, sink and shower cleaned. We told reception twice that this had not been done but we may as well have talked to the wall! Also the continental breakfast was very sparse, had to tell them that there was no fresh fruit cut up no croissants and very little else. I think the staff need to be trained in working for hospitality!!!
