A lovely place to hang out with friends. The menu is small but well chosen, with some nice healthy breakfast options. I really enjoyed my porridge and the juice — it was a bit on the small side, but very fresh and tasty. Overall, a cosy spot with a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely go back.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​ A local favourite! Light on the Common is my go-to for a quiet drink in the sun. It’s tucked away from the main hustle, making the outdoor tables very peaceful. It's a 'fair weather' spot for me since I bring my dog and they only allow pets outside, but it's worth it for the vibe. My friends really enjoy the brunch here, too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

We have just come home from visiting this little gem of a place for the first time. My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, only we forgot to make a booking, but that wasn't an issue as we were accommodated with ease and welcomed warmly, no fuss at all. Lovely table, nice atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. Portions were generous, but when we found out desserts can be ordered "to go" we couldn't resist.
