Food is nice and the menu is extensive, but I'm beginning to think it's the same sauce for every dish. Portions are large and prices are not expensive. Service is good too. Don't expect too much and you will not be disappointed.

The staff were excellent, the service was great. A busy restaurant which would normally say the food was good. Unfortunately it was probably the worst curry both of us had tasted in a restaurant. The lamb was virtually inedible (more like mutton), tougher than old boots. The chicken although fairly good, the curry itself was rather tasteless. The best part was the poppadom and the well sized portion of dips. The drinks were expensive. Not a place I would recommend unless you never cook yourself and have no base to compare.

Had a really tasty meal at Shaan restaurant this lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and polite. The meal was hot and very nice. I had the best chicken biriyani in a long time. We were on holiday but if we are ever in the area again would definitely go back.
