We visited Castello in Yeovil for Mother’s Day and had a lovely time. The staff were attentive and hospitable. We enjoyed a starter of olives and tomato bruschetta, they were fresh and full of flavour, and the (vg) spaghetti pomodoro was delicious. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The staff gifted mum a special surprise at the end - ice cream with "happy mothers day" written with chocolate sauce, which made the whole visit feel even more memorable. A genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere - we will be back.

I go to Castello’s regularly with my parents but I also booked a table for my staff leaving do, we originally booked it for 20 people but 2 extra people told me last minute that they also wanted to come so asked for the table to be put to 22 people, I was afraid that more people might also want to join last minute and I didn’t want to mess the restaurant around so booked the table for 30 people maximum, the team were so accommodating and replied so quickly with each email I sent, asked for me to get a preorder in for peoples food choices which was then given to the restaurant the day before th
