My partner and I were skeptical about eating inside anywhere on a very warm bank holiday lunchtime but are incredibly glad we gave this cafe a go! The prices did raise our eyebrows slightly but with it being York centre it seems fair. Besides- it was absolutely worth it! We had a BLT and salmon with poached eggs alongside a smoothie and fresh orange juice- cannot fault the food at all, generous, perfectly made portions, well seasoned and cooked to perfection! DELICIOUS!!!! Absolutely amazing food, incredible service and so accommodating. We were a walk in of five and they seated us straight away. They were accommodating of one of our party members allergy and provided detail in the preparation of their food. The drinks and food came out very quickly especially considering how many other people were in the restaurant. And the food!!! It was incredible with high quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. Everything about this experience was incredible and the food was priced very reasonably. Our family could not have been happier!

I absolutely adore this place. I had spotted a really good looking scone in the window so went in. We had green tea with lemon and ginger and honey. I had an orange and cranberry scone with butter, rhubarb/ginger jam and clotted cream. Simply scrumptious! I also had the beet root soup with mashed potato. Sounded very unique and I loved it.
