I grew up in Akron and used to visit Diamond Deli all the time, and I'm very pleased to say that it's every bit as fantastic as it was 20 years ago, if not better. I've been to many famous delis across the country, and I would easily put Diamond Deli up against any of them, especially factoring in price/value, staff, etc. All this to say, if you're in the area, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't come grab a sandwich here.

Absolutely! Hands down the best Reuben sandwich I have had since I remember when I was younger. The toast was absolutely perfectly crispy, plenty of meat. Just the perfect amount of everything. Now the matzo soup. Oh my gosh! The flavor of the chicken broth was so full and Hardy you can tell that. I think they grow their own chickens LOL 🙄🤣🤣❤️ If you never try this place, you don't know what you're missing. Looking forward to coming back to Akron, Ohio to try other sandwiches. With me. Traveling all over United States in the last 6 years I hit a home run in Akron, Ohio. Please never change

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The guys who run the place are amazing and the sandwiches are the BEST sandwiches in the world…I’m not exaggerating! My fave is the “where’s Jason” (add onion and toasted)
