I adore this place! The staff was so welcoming. My friend and I (hot pot newbies) were sat at a table with 4 hot pot bowls embedded in the table. I noticed there were tables with 6 hot pots, and an even larger table in a private dining room. The drink menu offered beer, wine, and sake. We ordered tea, and were provided with a piping hot pot of it. The tea was quite enjoyable. For appetizers, we ordered sweet potato pancakes and spring rolls. The pancakes were addicting. A highly inauthentic all-you-can-eat hot pot place that only works for people who have never had real Chinese hot pot before. The beef and lamb are both processed, compressed meat sliced thinly; they have zero flavor and a weird, plastic-like texture. The seafood and beef tripe weren't fresh at all and tasted muddy. Both the broth and the dipping sauces were incredibly bland and lacked any aroma—you’re honestly much better off buying ingredients from a supermarket and making it at home. The only fresh things here were a few types of vegetables.
