Popcatfoodie★★★★★Absolutely loved Tosokchon. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and tasted really authentic. The seafood pancake was crispy and packed with ingredients, the bossam and soondae platter was delicious, and the banchan were all really good too. The highlight for me was definitely the spicy chicken feet, super flavorful with the perfect amount of spice and honestly one of the best I’ve had. The rice balls paired perfectly with it as well. Overall, everything was amazing and I’d definitely come back again
Nerissa Maria Ward★★★★24 hour Korean restaurant, that's incredible! The food was simple and delicious, and great portions for the price. The service was excellent, I was tended to very well. Seafood & Beef Tofu Soup was excellent! Mildly flavored, perfect for this cold weather. Mandu (dumplings) well stuffed, juicy and flavorful. Korean Blood Sausage, not my favorite, but it had an interesting texture, as it also had mainly rice in it.
Audrie★★★★When all else fails, Tosokchon never does. It’s my go-to spot any time of day since they’re always open. The kimchi alone is worth the visit—authentic, fresh, and tasting truly homemade. We always order the japchae, hands down the best in the DMV. The Dookbaeki Bulgogi is a warm, slightly sweet soup that’s incredibly comforting, while the L.A. galbi is tender and packed with flavor. Sharing photos of a few other dishes we’ve tried when branching out from our usual orders. Overall, this place is a gem and one I highly recommend.
Wayne Ma★★★We went there around 5 or 6 in the evening. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all and was pretty quiet. It seems to be open 24 hours and is quite popular around here, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very good. The food was either too salty or too bland. The seafood pancake was not crispy. The tofu soup was extremely salty! The beef in the beef soup was very tough, I couldn’t chew it with my teeth. The only thing I thought was good was their rice. It was steamed really well and even without the dishes, I could still eat the rice on its own.
