1630 on a Monday. Double Cheeseburger with TOTS. Not busy, two other tables. One waitress sideways in a booth alone looking at her phone, contemplating her life choices. A lady at the cash register took my order, she had a BIG smile and half glasses with a beaded lanyard like Miss. Pearl had. In general I wouldn't call the place clean, but it has a lived in feel to it. Its got a good vibe and the food was good.

Basic, good and cheap! Will come back! Extensive: Food - sandwiches were tasty, the bacon was above par, but the patties were store-bought. I expected them to be handmade. The charbroiled flavor was great. Fries were crisp and dry. Service - basic, to the point and satisfactory. No complaints. Atmosphere - the place was relatively clean, definitely dated. The aviation memorabilia made it interesting.

Airways used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I have not been here for about 5 years until the other day. I was so disappointed. Burgers were NOT the same. The quality was completely different. The fat content was so high the meat was light in color as can be. I've been coming to Airways for many years as I used to live nearby and I was so disappointed that they did not taste the same. The prices are still good though. I would rather them raise the prices a little to bring back the old quality.

I ordered a BBQ Burger and Fried Mushrooms. The burger comes with chopped beef with no vegetables. It was good. The fried mushrooms tasted good, but the batter seemed dark. Not sure if it was overdone. Very nice service at the counter. Good prices!
