I love stopping by 85 Degrees. I ordered a number of different items, and everything was great, but my favorite by far was the Strawberry Cream Squares. They were fresh, light, and perfectly balanced — not overly sweet, just right. This bakery is always clean and well-organized, and the staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes every visit a good experience. There are loads of pastries, sweet and savory items to enjoy here. The best part is that they are freshly made and very reasonable. I had the milk / cream bread which is very popular, potato croquettes, croissants and coffee. They had a large selection of Chinese savory items made with bean curd and moon cake as add-ons. There were three sandwich options, but none of them were vegetarian. Great place for family and regular relaxation with friends over coffee. The music, though is very loud and could be better. I am so impressed with this spot! If you’re a fan of Porto’s but don’t want to make the trek, you have to try their cheese rolls. They taste exactly like the ones from Porto’s—perfectly flaky, sweet, and savory. Aside from the pastries, their cakes are incredible. They are so delicious and surprisingly filling, which makes them well worth it. Definitely my new go-to for a sweet treat in Cerritos

This location is usually our go-to, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We came in to buy an ube cake for our mother’s birthday and explicitly mentioned it was for a birthday. The employee helping us was completely disengaged and ended up giving us a frozen cake — without mentioning it, checking, or showing any care whatsoever. How do you hand someone a frozen cake for a birthday and not think twice about it? That lack of awareness and basic customer service is unacceptable.
