I had a phenomenal experience at the Padre Hotel. The room was clean, and well kept. The staff were super professional and accommodating. The restaurant served great cocktails and food. I had a fabulous view of the FBI SWAT teams staging location, on Tuesday June 2nd, during the Chase Bank hostage incident. I enjoyed several cocktails with a great view of the action, from the lobby bar! I’ll definitely be coming back to the Padre!

Being in the heart of Downtown Bakersfield, this was one of the most memorable places I’ve been. My husband and I loved the Oilfield themed wallpaper and rustic authentic old school Bakersfield style. It brought us back to the 1800’s with a very modern twist.
