This place is legit! Great menu. We ordered a lot and all was good. Gumbo, Bourdain balls, red beans & rice, fried fish with shrimp. Also we got the bread pudding (something you get on your first visit for free). Service was so good. Atmosphere good too. Seating is indoors or outdoors and the outdoor space is really nice. Would have liked to see more on tap and maybe some craft beer. We will be back for sure.

First timer here and will not be the last time. Went for lunch time around 1pm and it wasn’t crowded. Our waitress Tootie was very helpful once we told her it was our 1st time visiting. The manager came over and gave us samples of items off the menu which scored big time points with me. The food we ordered came out quickly and was hot and fresh. I just cldnt finish all my food. So good!! It was our first time here and my boyfriend and I split the Cajun Empanadas and Rockdale Redfish. It came with a side salad and filled us up! The empanadas are so good I’d come back for those alone! The redfish tasted fresh and the sauce was amazing!! The service was fast and friendly. I thought the atmosphere outside where we sat was great! The volume of the music was good too - I didn’t feel like I needed to yell to talk which isn’t always the case with outdoor seating.
