What a pleasure to eat at Bob & Edith's Diner on N. Kings Highway! My server today was Lindsay. She was quick, efficient, and had a natural smile that was warm and welcoming. I ordered the two eggs with corned beef hash. Food was good and I would definitely recommend that. I had the hash browns smothered with sausage gravy. Had a cup of coffee that I never saw the bottom of the cup because it was constantly refilled by Lindsay. I would highly recommend this place to any and everybody. This location has some servers that are great, but there is one in particular who is extremely unprofessional and rude which makes me never want to visit them ever again and warn others to stay far away. The food is okay (more times than not), but not great enough for me to continue to driving over 20 minutes one-way just to get there and be treated poorly. Quick and easy! We came in a bit after the lunch rush as a group of 6 and were quickly seated. They have a solid and extensive menu, so everyone was able to find something they liked. It is also mostly a la carte, so you can order based on how hungry you are. I got a cheeseburger and a small salad. Both were good - neither were the best I've ever had, but they hit the requirements. Staff was quick and friendly. They didn't mind splitting checks. I believe they are open 24/7, so plenty of opportunity to stop in should you be hungry for a quick fix. Enjoy!
