Really great handmade tamales. The masa is light, fluffy, and moist, and the fillings are very flavorful. The homemade sauces are also excellent with a nice mild-to-medium heat and a good amount of fresh cilantro. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they’re happy to adjust spice levels if you ask. I also tried the horchata, which wasn’t listed on the menu but was delicious. Overall, a great spot for authentic, well-made food.

Excellent handmade Tamales! Light fluffy moist corn meal encasing flavorful meat. The homemade sauces are very good, mild-medium heat, plenty of cilantro. The staff is very friendly, you want your food hotter-spicier, just ask. I didn't see it on the menu but they have horchata, delicious! 😋

Stopped here for lunch a few days ago. We ordered online, thinking we would take our food to a park, but it was a little too windy. There were plenty of tables, so we ate our food inside. The hostess was happy to bring us some very fresh and delicious verde and rojo sauces to the table, and our burrito, tacos, beans, and pico absolutely hit the spot! If you like AUTHENTIC Mexican food, and don't want to pay $10 per taco at one of those "hospitality group" restaurants, come to Taco Neno instead!

I was craving tacos! This has got to be the best Mexican food joint in Beloit. The food was spot on, flavorful, the salsas were delicious and *actually* spicy hot compared to other bland places I've visited. This food was excellent and I'm grateful I live so close by so I can visit more often. I had three different tacos, steak, steak and chorizo, and chicken. All three are topped with onion and cilantro. The red hot sauce was soooo good on these. I think my favorite was the steak taco. The chips were great too! 😋 Thank you for the great meal!
