Wow. A Safeway employee was checking out with only a few items, but the transaction took an extremely long time because the items were being paid for separately. The cashier and another employee were assisting her the entire time, yet neither acknowledged my presence or apologized for the delay. I was left standing there feeling completely ignored while they casually took their time. Customer service and basic courtesy were clearly lacking during this visit. Because of this experience, I’ll be shopping at another Safeway location moving forward.

The workers at the deli and sushi counters are the nicest people ever. I have been going here for 4 years and have never had a bad experience. The food is good and fresh as well. The whole store is clean and always has everything I need. This is such a great grocery store.

Amy, I just want to acknowledge you for your customer service. This lady was alone and she was cleaning the deli and I and other consumers wanted a sandwich. She didn’t have any back up. I asked for the manager and he asked her to make the sandwiches. it was hard for her to clean And prepare to close because once again, she was the only person in the deli, but she made me the most beautiful sandwich and she was very patient. She did a lettuce wrap sandwich she was very careful in her presentation and I thank you so much for your Customer Service . You deserve a shout out for your excellence.
