We went to the 99 in Salem this evening. Right away we were greeted by the friendliest waiter...Wayne. He immediately made us feel comfortable and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately two of us that ordered the same meal were not happy with it. He immediately took care of the situation offering us different meals or taking the meal off the bill. He was extremely accommodating. We all enjoy the 99 and will be back for the food but we will definitely be back for the service thanks to Wayne.

I came with three family members for a party of four, and our experience was phenomenal, as was many of our experiences were. Our server was quite friendly, he was able to switch out my father's Dr. Pepper for a Mocktail with no problems whatsoever. Our food came out quick and lastly, and pricing is normal for restaurants like these. My only problem is the atmosphere, its very calming, but sometimes it can get too quiet.

The chopped steak menu deal meal was not good. The broccoli was overly steamed and had no seasoning or butter. The mashed potatoes were cold and thin. It was decent but not great. The honey bbq chicken wrap was amazing as always

We have noticed that the quality has gone down and the price goes up. Steak tips- our usual order for take out. They used to be delicious and full of flavor, now they are fewer in number but $31.00 for 6 pieces and all I taste is an overwhelming salt and pepper flavor. The tips I ordered were supposedly “smothered” with onions and mushrooms “ . I would say a sprinkling of mushrooms and onions! I think this is the last time we go here. I’m hearing good things about Champions in Peabody.
