The drinks and dessert were the best parts. We dined at Brigade for our anniversary dinner. I had high hopes; but, unfortunately, it wasn't great. Some parts were better than others though. I'll start with appetizers. We ordered oysters and a baguette. The oysters were good but I found the mignonette lacking flavor. There was nothing special about the baguette. We were given two options for compound butter and asked if we could try both. The sweeter of the two options was better and we were charged for the second. Stopped into Brigade with friends for pre dinner drinks and appetizers before heading out to explore more of Bozeman for the evening and it was a fantastic way to kick things off! The drink selection was impressive and the bartenders were truly polished and knowledgeable — the kind who take real pride in what they do. The salad (fresh greens with toppings) was fresh but could have used more acid, few squeezes of lemon would’ve helped it pop.
