We decided to try a new restaurant tucked away in the Westminster area. Made online reservations and drove thru a bunch of traffic cones to get there. Once there, the ambiance outside looked very romantic. Cold night, lit up trees, fireplace in the center of a turnaround. The restaurant was nice, although it looks like they cater more to business people. Initially it appears kind of bougie but the wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Went to their most recent tasting menu with wine. Listen!! The food was so good and the wine pairing was immaculate. There’s a Whiskey & Wine coming soon, I hope I’m able to attend. So many people came to the great food, wine, and conversation was amazing. The only negative was no room for intimate conversation if you’re planning a private quiet experience. My partner and I had an excellent experience at Hickory & Ash. Our waiter was Evan who served with great customer service and met all our needs. We had the delicious lamb shank, beef tartare and lobster bisque. Everything was absolutely perfect. The restaurant is so cozy and the decorations match the ambience. We will certainly be back and would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had the pleasure of visiting Hickory and Ash for the first time tonight, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I am glad I went! If I had to sum the experience up in a few words, I would say I experienced very fine quality food, meticulously prepared, in an otherwise relaxed and casual atmosphere. The filet I ordered was cooked to medium rare perfection, and I was also pleasantly surprised by a bowl of lobster bisque the contained more lobster meat than I think I have ever encountered before!
