I’ve been a loyal Cali Taco customer since the early days and have visited multiple locations. Unfortunately, the Buckeye location has gone downhill significantly. Today we ordered two tacos and they were stacked directly on top of each other, smashed and messy. Even more disappointing was the lack of customer service — no greeting, no friendliness, and no care when handing off the order. This is my home location, and it’s frustrating to see such a decline. Food is good but service is horrible sometimes. I ask for everything on the taco. Cashier even asks me AGAIN! to confirm! which I do!. Come home from a long drive to plain tacos, seriously?! I spend my hard earned money here and it isn't the first time. And it's really a shame because they are really good but I feel that maybe this location doesn't live up to their standard of what Calitacos should be. I have been going to the lower Tolleson store since it opened, never an issue. I had just moved to Buckeye and began ordering here and I'm disappointed. It is NEVER consistent. My first time ordering here my orders were off with small mistakes and I didn't think much about it. My last visit I ordered a TO GO FAMILY SPECIAL over the phone. I usually get drinks with it, but on the phone she never mentioned they were not serving fountain drinks due to it being down. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. We had the carne asada sope and the birria tacos. Absolutely delicious!! My family and I didn't really care for the guacamole; it was really runny. Actually, the beans are the same, really runny. The rice, meat and the salsa were delicious.
