We live in Long Beach and picked up our friends in Culver City just to come and check this amazing place out. We loved the food, especially the eggplant parmesan, but the experience is what really made our evening special. We sat in the middle dining room that truly seemed frozen in time, in a great way. Always seen this growing up in the Valley, but first time trying this in 2025 on a Friday night around 7pm. Pastrami sandwiches are my favorite and go-to’s, but I asked the chef what he recommended, Pastrami or Roast Beef, he asked you like hot or cold? I said hot. He recommended the Pastrami (On Roll). After ordering it, the lady next to me said the Pastrami is really good here, great choice! I couldn’t wait to try it.
