At 11:55pm on March. 29th, 2026, I Bought wine and was asked for my ID. The ID wasn’t scanned or anything, just looked at. By the way, I am 40 years old. I don’t know if I should feel flattered but I don’t - I actually felt kind of disrespected. I truly believe that I don’t I look like I’m 20 years old or younger. I get 28-32 years old often, but under 21 years old? Cmon now. The vibe just felt like she thought I was gonna try to steal the wine, which I don’t steal, at all! The vibe didn’t lighten up til I actually bought the wine, THEN it’s have a nice day sir and all of that good stuff. Bad

2nd time a family member have told me this before about this location, now i witnessed for myself. This is why i usually go to VONS, or a grocery store in a whole different city. This Ralphs give secret racist vibes! You know the smile but secretly hate your guys type of looks. Cashier (maybe manager, had a dress shirt on) looked at my ID a little too long when i was purchasing a bottle of Wine. Looked at my ID, looked back at me, back at the ID for about 5 seconds and back at me then finally handed me my ID back. I know it’s not the direct store but this is the one I went to. The advertising is misleading. They put shrimp and tri tip for $6.99lb and in little writing it says the tri tip is $7.99lb. Why put them together if they are not the same price??? I went out of my way to purchase here with this advertisement… This was extremely deceptive…
