I’m sure it’s been said, but it’s a Denny’s. It’s important to manage our expectations. Denny’s in general just have low ratings across the board because people don’t understand what this place is. That aside, I was glad to find a Denny’s out this way that checked all the boxes. My fiancée didn’t remember her first experience at one, so this was a great refresher. So me and my 18 year old son went in this morning around 5:30. Only 1 server and she had table. So we went to a booth and was going to place 5 To go orders. Hispanic older lady comes. We say we would like to place to go orders and I'll take a coffee while I wait. Why this woman got an attitude and said "Ok!" Well to go orders is to be done over there. I told her how rude she was and that you could've taken the order. And I was going to tip you. If this is how lazy employees is stereotyping who they prefer to.serve is crazy. Money is money. Slow,slow, slow service. Employee's just stood around chatting and did not check on customers (we waited a long time after being seated before before someone came to get our order, In fact, the cleaning guy seated us after we waited for service). Our server seemed to look away and not make eye contact. There was at least 3 servers and only 5 tables being served... Mega lazy servers We had a party of 3 and we all were amazed at the lack of service. Food was ok.
