Brian Bearden★★★★★Had the pleasure of eating at Steak38 with my coworkers while visiting New Jersey, this place was amazing, the Old Mob atmosphere and vibe was authentic, Sinatra pictures and music playing. The best Ceasar salad I have ever had made table side, the dressing was made while we watched. Had the filet mignon prepared perfectly, mashed potato’s and green beans, and the best banana’s foster I have ever had for desert. This place was phenomenal and I can’t wait to go back. Staff were very friendly and the service was quick. 10/10

The second was too sweet for me. Lobster Bisque was tasty, but small portion. The Calamari was good, and good sized.
Margarita Saez★★★★★Arrived too early for my reservation and they still accommodated us. Staff was so welcoming. The food was excellent. The sliced seedy bread with whipped garlic butter was heaven. Of course I had to get the steak (which was perfect). The crab cake was huge and cooked perfectly. They offered so many specials and other options not mentioned on their menu, it was hard to decide. Definitely ask. We went for an anniversary dinner, we were given complimentary champagne, which tasted fantastic. Very nice gesture. Overall great hidden gem with many food options, great service. Matt Portugal★★I came to Steak 38 on my birthday (May 7th) expecting a great dinner experience, especially given the restaurant’s reputation, but unfortunately the night was disappointing from start to finish. To start, the hostess was very kind and accommodating when I walked in asking for a table for one on a busy night, and I appreciated that. However, the table I was given felt tucked away in the back room behind a curtain, almost “out of sight, out of mind,” which ended up reflecting the level of service I received all evening. The waiter who initially introduced himself was pleasant and knowledgeable
