Dark matter seems kind of hit or miss. Bought a bag of their wine yeast ferment and it was awful as a pour over but quite nice as an espresso. The beans were a bit more medium for my liking but made some nice long blacks with it. Love the concept in general and that they use art from real artists. Actually the special roast they make for Do-Rite is incredibly tasty and perfect with donuts. I also rly enjoyed their coffee chocolate bar.

Top 5 coffee experience I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find “authentic” coffee shops, with milk that is properly frothed. Most places serve you espresso with warm milk. Reasonably priced as well with large sizes. They had many unique options too. I had the Mayan Mocha which had cayenne pepper in it… wow!! Very good!! I definitely would come here again and again.

Love this spot in the westloop. The murals on the wall are neat and the coffee is always delicious. There are a few other locations around the city, I just go to this one more often because it’s close to home. Their whole bean coffee is always for-sale and freshly roasted. If you’re gonna go frequently get a punch card.
