Eugene L★★★★★Unpretentious high end sushi in a casual setting. When complimenting the sushi chef Joe on the uni and raw scallops, informed our party that they ship from Hokkaido Japan vs domestically. Also 1st time have real fresh wasabi, vs the artificial green paste, did t even realize I’ve been eating artificial wasabi all my life. Great experience will be going back.
Rolo★★★★Located off Chinatown in Jefferson Square (looks like a warehouse) in 88 Marketplace, I have been here before for the food court, such a disappointment. But 312 Fishmarket has arguably some of the freshest nigiri I have had in the city albeit the pieces are kinda small but the umami is all there. These 7 pieces was north of $70 (pricey to say the least) and it easily could have been twice that!! Christian Klos★★★★★I was introduced to hand rolls in Austin, TX (but I live in Chicago). Since the introduction, I've always been looking for a go-to hand roll spot in Chicago and 312 Fish Market has been my savior. Not only has it reaffirmed my love for hand rolls, but it's become my addiction... the quality and quantity of fish this place provides is an impressive ratio given the price (vs sushi market). I mean, look at those beauties in the picture I attached! On top of the food, it's so cool how the restaurant is lodged in a bustling Asian food market. Making for an unique experience from the sit down to t
Kasia Turczyn★★★Visited based on reviews but it seemed like generic sushi. The menu items on line are much more presentable, look differen than what it served. It was good, but lacked the flavor. The Tuna Tataki was salty. Portion sizes were on the smaller size. We had the Tuna Tataki, Sake Salmon, Torched Salmon Maki, Shitake Mushroom Maki. I wouldn't personally visit again. The staff was nice.
