Popular OTR spot for brunch. It has a nice, slightly upscale vibe with lots of greenery hanging from the ceiling and walls. We started with a mimosa flight which was really good. They also offer mimosa and bellini pitchers if you have a group of people. I had the stuffed French toast with a side of egg and my husband had the chicken and waffles with egg. I’ve visited The Alcove several times before and usually have a great experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and most of the staff are very kind, which is why today’s experience was disappointing. For Mother’s Day, after a lovely flower basket-making outing with my sister-in-law, we had reservations for 2:45 PM. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated quickly. Very trendy little bar with great beer. We really liked all of the live plants that were everywhere. It gave it a very healthy, earthy vibe. Beer was top notch. Didn't have one that we didn't like. The peanut butter porter was my favorite. Didn't eat but the food looked very fresh and tasty.

Alcove-OTR is an incredible event venue in OTR and such a great space to work in as a photographer. The upstairs ballroom is gorgeous for weddings — beautiful light, a spacious layout, and an elegant backdrop that photographs so well.
