First, my friend and I wanted to go to KALAVERAS for the slushie margaritas and soft serve. On the website of KALAVERAS, it stated happy hours from 2-6pm. We got there at 2. Instead of it being called Kalaveras, it was Mariposas. The waitress told us that it’s essentially Kalaveras. There was a sign out documenting ownership change, so assuming that’s the reason. 1st disappointment was when their happy hours were different, instead of 2-6pm, they did 3-7pm. Not only that, we decided to order a flight of the slushie margaritas/soft serve, like we’ve seen KALAVERAS do online. Only for the waitre

First time coming and last time coming here. I always drive by the restaurant to work. I say myself i give a try out. During lunch break [only 1 hours] Oh boy they took so long to make my foods. Took them 30 sometimes left 15 min I didn't enjoy at all. I eat rush thanks cooker. Server is not good either. They just talked/goofy around. I was disappointment. I should went to inNout next time.

My review is just about the tacos since I only order on special taco Tuesday and it's always for takeout. So far every time I've order their meats are pretty fresh as well as their salsas/pico de gallo/condiments. As for the portions it's like a hit and miss sometimes they add good portions of meats to your tacos and sometimes they skimp on the meat also is the reason for 3 stars but whether they skimp or not the food is always fresh so I'm good with that.

Very eager to please staff who seem to take ownership of the place, as if they invested their entire fortune hoping to succeed. Well, the owner must feel fortunate to have these kinds of staff and I hope the business will grow well for everyone involved to be blessed too. The food was great, tasty, true to the Mexican flavor and tradition, a good amount of servings and the interior arrangement is refined. My wife and I got the lunch special and the price was good. Try this place. I can't say about the evening offerings but it has a bar.
