If you never had a fried soft shell taco (think really fluffy pita bread) you need to. And, if you need to, you need to have yours at Tasty Tacos. It's been 6 yrs since my parents sold my childhood home in Des Moines and for those 6 yrs every time I've spoken about traveling back and the things I wanted to do/see, Tasty Tacos remained in the top of the list and did not disappoint!

These guys are amazing 2 months in a row had them prepare lunch for work meetings for about 40 people for the 1st meeting of the day about 30 people for the 2nd meeting of the day about 100 tacos and a couple large pans of rice was amazing fresh they sent us with a ton of their fantastic homemade hot sauce and containers for tacos napkins silverware and by far the best price in town. So humble they didn't even expect a tip. I was so impressed with how well they handled these big orders 2 separate times on the same day I will tell everyone nothing but good about this place and the hard working

There are no big tables for larger groups. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had to push two tables together because the booths are so small. The food always tastes good but I almost couldn't eat as I used the restroom first and about lost my appetite. I have never smelled a restroom as awful as that. I would definitely come back again but only if it was just me and my husband or one friend and I would never enter that restroom again.
