Had a little bit of a wait, but having a cocktail before didn't make the wait feel that long. Restaurant is definitely on the old/dirty side. Bathrooms could use a significant upgrade as well. Been here a couple of times and the air seems stagnant. Our grill cook was good. A lot of food for the price. Easily a second dinner or late night snack. Don't understand why they would ask for temps on steak when everything is cooked medium well and above. Had a good time with the family, but will look for something that looks and feels cleaner if I'm going to pay $40+ for a meal. Cool photo though

My family and I went there for lunch today and we had a wonderful experience. Our server George was great and our chef was great. They both made our experience wonderful. The only complaint was they definitely need to do some inside decor updates. Chairs were ripped, bathrooms a little scary and the the patch up paint job is very noticeable. But our chef and server were amazing!!!

I am rewriting my review from several years ago because I need to remove some stars. I still think they have the best Japanese food in town, but they have allowed the restaurant to become so rundown. The men's restroom looks like a filthy gas station restroom! There's graffiti on the walls and mirror and the ceiling is in disrepair. They should be ashamed of themselves for letting it get that this way! (See attached pictures). I used to proudly take my out-of-town guests here, but now I'm embarrassed to bring them.

Couple of weeks ago came for a birthday. Chief was boring. No excitement. Food was good though. So I called right now to do a pick up order. She immediately put me on hold...I drove here the whole time I'm on hold. I was thinking they are busy. Nope not one person in the waiting area. She and another employee standing there gossiping about a coworker while I'm still on hold on phone. She finally ask to help me and I tell her I'm the person on hold and she was like oh sorry. ...wow ..do better please. Just because you have nothing to do doesn't mean I don't. Do your job and save gossip for brea
