The food was way off. The cachapa had mozzarella and provolone cheese maybe, but it was not the Venezuelan cheese that is known for. The cachapa itself was super dry and maybe came with honey mixed in? It was super sweet and The flavor was off. This was probably the worst cachapa i had ever had. The carne mechada was mostly cumin, not the tradicional flavor. And the arepa felt like it was defrosted or something. One of the guanabana juice was great, the other one was mostly water. Other than that, the tequeños were good, although only 4 come in a ration and they were smaller than normal size.

I had not been to Arepazo in a long time but we decided to stop by on our short visit from Cincinnati- I will start with the best: still the best cilantro sauce I’ve tried! Location was nice and nice atmosphere, the food was Ok, I got the picada which is served for two and I could not get a smaller portion and Darryl got a patacon which was ok.

This was my first time visiting, and I had seen many great reviews online and as a result had high expectations. While the service was good and atmosphere was fine, the food in particular was a considerable let down. Although the presentation looked good, everything we ordered was egregiously unseasoned. There was also a lack of any sauce options. The blandness was notable across our whole parties dishes. For the price we paid, there was nothing special that warranted it. Our guacamole only tasted like avocados and we had to add lime and salt from the other dishes to make it taste like anyt

Was traveling here and didnt know where the good restaurants were. Went to Google and narrowed it down to this one. We walked in around 530 on a Friday night and the restaurant appeared to be quiet. However, as we were seated at our table we could see that it was busier than it initially looked. The food was exactly what we were looking for. It wasn't too expensive (part of what we got was also on happy hour) and it was very flavorful. Furthermore, the food arrived quickly after the order was placed and arrive hot. I love when food arrives hot. The restaurant itself had a fun and clean atmo
