A Hidden Gem in Covington! If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a group outing, look no further than Frida 602. We recently visited (a group of six) before a family wedding welcome party, and despite none of us having been there before, it’s safe to say we are all now big fans. First off, don't be discouraged if it looks packed from the street. The space is much larger than it appears from the outside; there is plenty of room for groups even when the front bar area is buzzing. I have been here many times. I live near the restaurant. The food was always excellent and still is. I came to a happy hour last night and had wonderful tacos but the classic margueritas (which have been great in the past) are no longer so. We ordered them and realized that they were just small glasses filled to the top with ice and had no detectable tequila. It was so disappointing that I will no longer boast about their great margueritas. The service was only so so. The waitress wasn’t really paying attention to what we were asking even though it was not busy.

Fridas might have the best chips and queso in Cincinnati. The al pastor taco was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of spice. I would absolutely recommend trying one. The margaritas were also well balanced. We really enjoyed the food and would try it again.
