The food was good. It seems like they're better known for their drinks, though, and I don't drink alcohol. The very nice bartender did mention that they make mocktails, which I did not order. I got the Melon & Prosciutto Crostini and Roasted Pear Salad. Both were delicious, but I thought the portions and amount of toppings/accompaniments were a bit scarce for the price. My friend got the Tilapia Tacos--also good, and a more appropriate size for the price. The service and design of the place were also good.

The Continental was an unexpected stop for us today. (We were searching for Waldo at local businesses around the East Village. A little something fun for the month of July; pick up your sheet for stamps/stickers/signatures at the stores participating and enjoy shopping, dining and just wandering the East Village.) Stopped in for drinks and sat at the bar—great experience! I absolutely loved the watermelon cocktails; they might just be my new favorite. The atmosphere is small but really nice, with a cozy and stylish vibe. It's definitely my new go-to drink spot!

The lounge was understaffed. One person was working the bar and the tables. The food was average, and some was fresh but others had been sitting before they got to our table. The drinks were the big issue. If you want $14 for a craft cocktail, you should have all of the ingredients. You should also not use so little alcohol that you suspect it might be a mocktail. Even the vodka and soda had no hint of alcohol. There were other downstream problems with payment, but I have eliminated this as an option for Wooly's pre show drinks and food.
