She was attentive and kind—give my girl a raise; she deserves it. The food was great, different from what I’m used to, and I’m glad I tried it. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The broccolini with that tomato-based sauce is superb, and the fries were fresh and crunchy. The lamb shoulder was something I wasn’t used to, but it was really good, and I’m happy I tried it. I recommend this place, and I will be back.

We began at the bar for happy hour drinks and appetizers (happy hour is bar-only). The drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The appetizers were okay — the lamb meatballs were a hit, but the fries weren’t very crispy and some items tasted like they may have been reheated rather than made fresh. Our server Claire made wonderful recommendations, was attentive and kind and really helped make the evening great. The iberico secreto and Mille Feuille were highlights! The care and intention that has gone into the menu is evident, and we will definitely be revisiting Besa for more evenings out.
