The Roost is such a cozy and welcoming coffee shop with a warm atmosphere and beautiful rustic décor. We tried the iced latte, hot macchiato, croissant, and vegan spice cake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, the croissant was fresh and flaky, and the vegan spice cake was rich, moist, and full of warm spice flavor without being overly sweet. The service was friendly, and the whole place had a relaxing vibe that made us want to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back again for more coffee and treats!

Such a quaint little coffee ☕️ shop tucked on a side street in Detroit. The barista was super friendly and helpful. The coffee was absolutely amazing. Plus they have a cute little market and some tables for chatting it up. They make you feel super welcome. The vibe is amazing.

What a great cafe! The owner and staff are quite hospitable. The space is attractive and cozy. The Roost offers coffee, tea, breakfast options and wine tasting events. It also looks like a great place to hang out on a spring or summer day. I am looking forward to my next visit.

This is one of my favorite cafes in Detroit. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably, and I love the communal seating arrangement. Laptops are not allowed, so bring a book, or chat with neighbors. I appreciate that it’s dog-friendly too.
