Worst in the chain I've found yet. Franchisee "cheats" on size of chickens...comes out overcooked and dry-as-bone nasty ( see pics of tiny wishbone and wing.) Wing was skin over bone...so they threw on another. I guess they thought two un- eatable wings was better than one un-eatable wing. Da! Salty to the max...didn't really even taste like Polo Loco's recipe. Mac and cheese was watered down soup. Very disappointing! No Jalipanios! Asian peppers instead. On my top 10 Worst restaurant list.

I went there with $20.00 in dimes and $10.00 in nickels, I told the female at the register that I want to buy 2-4 peice meals and I will lay he coins out on the counter to count them, after 15 minutes of arranging and counting the coins the little Mexican Manager who is working right now, 3/30/26 says he can not except coins only. I told him I already got approval and he said so, I'm the manager. This manager watched and waited until I was done to tell me he's not excepting them, and he told me with an attitude and a smile on his face. This will be reported to corporate as a complaint.

Their tacos are great. I usually get of them, and so are cheacken breast pieces. I also love Spanish rice. They have curbside right now which makes things easy and safe.

El Pollo Loco – Chicken So Good, I Considered Proposing Listen, I came for chicken and left questioning my loyalty to all other fast food. El Pollo Loco’s fire-broiled chicken is so good it should be illegal—or at least come with a warning: May cause spontaneous happy dancing. Juicy, smoky, and seasoned like someone's abuela put a spell on it. 10/10 would betray my diet again. Shout to the Manager Axel! extraordinary service.
