I’m in DC visiting from ATL. A friend recommended me to come here and it did not disappoint. Allie my server was an absolute delight. The food and drinks were amazing. And the bookstore fantastic. I’m really glad I came here. It was my highlight of my two day trip. Next time I’m in DC this will be my first stop for sure.

I would love to rate this place higher but unfortunately our experience was not great. The bookstore itself is fine. We made a reservation weeks ago for afternoon tea. We arrive and firstly, the hostess/waitress seems like us just being there is the biggest inconvenience to her. We were never given the afternoon tea menu even though as we were leaving we saw that all the surrounding tables had one. We decided to just order from the regular menu.
