To say I’m disappointed in my restaurant experience here is an understatement!! First of all, wait staff here seems young disorganized, inexperienced and inattentive. We had to physically go find someone to take our order after sitting. Then we received our food after a group that came after us. Look! don’t go by the menu because they’re just gonna put whatever they want on your food. I ordered a taco bowl that they decided to drizzle thousand island dressing and sour cream on it. Visiting my brother in Durham and he took us to Nuvo Taco. The food and service were excellent. A very casual and fun atmosphere, it was very busy while we were there. Between 3 people we had tacos with chicken, garlic beef, chorizo, grilled shrimp, and pork. We had a side of esquite street corn which was super delicious.

This was my first time in Durham, and I chose to eat here. Everything about the experience was amazing, from the food to the wonderful atmosphere. The young man helping me was very kind, easy to communicate my order to, and made the experience even better with his great service and positive attitude. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be coming back.

Pretty solid tacos except for the garlic beef. The texture was not great of that beef. Shrimp was solid. Fish was solid. Got quesadillas and it was good but nothing special really. Super soggy as well. They did give a nice bit bag of chips which were good as well as their hot sauce.
