Amar consistently delivers! Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. We had the perfect Galentines celebration there and they decorated our table beautifully. The Lomo Saltado, corn rib appetizers, and the elote cake with ice cream are my go tos. It was a wonderful change of pace to try salmon, pulpo, and some other of their delicious dishes. Highly recommend for date night, girls night, or just because.

The decor in this restaurant is homey, cozy, and simply lovely. I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Amar. It was my husband's and my first time visiting after we stumbled upon it on TikTok, and we decided to give it a try. We ordered the empanadas and the rice with jalea, and everything tasted amazing. Honestly, I haven't had food that good in a while! Not only was the food incredible, but the drinks were on point as well. We discovered Amar while making impromptu plans for a trip to El Paso, TX. We’re passionate about Peruvian food, and in Dallas, there aren’t many options available. Reservations are made through OpenTable. Upon arrival, our wait time was less than five minutes. The hostess greeted us warmly and showed us to our table near the bar area. We traveled to El Paso because we were going to attend the BTS concert at Sun Bowl. Since my boyfriend had been here before he highly recommended me to try AMAR. To my lovely surprise this place actually has a dedicated menu during the BTS weekend and I definitely tried one of the drinks —- the drink with watermelon was AMAZING, I loved it! Food is great! Both mom and I loved everything about this place. From the manager to our server they were fantastic! Hope to come back again someday!
