We’re visiting Erie for work and stopped in for breakfast. Wonderful experience! The whole atmosphere, decor, staff and food were excellent and delicious! Our server, Katrina was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She took the time to explain things, answer our questions and went above and beyond to make our dining experience excellent! We decided to come back again the next day and our server Jace was super. She has a great personality and welcomed us and also went above and beyond in her service. Very fair prices and the food was great! Such a gem for the downtown area of the city! Kathleen was a great server. I also love that the parking garage on peach and 5th connects right to the diner. Very convenient! I will definitely come back here.

A great throw back diner withe classic checkerboard flooring and nostalgic 1950s decor and great oldies music. The servers are quick, efficient and friendly. We made sure to checkin ahead because it can be busy especially during the weekends. I had a very well prepared supreme omelette that was loaded with sausage, peppers, onion, ham, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. The omelette came out piping hot and was a very generous portion. Overall, the quality and service are outstanding and Dave's should be in your breakfast/diner rotation. Cheers 🍻

I absolutely love this diner. The food is great, the staff are awesome, and atmosphere is fun. It will make you nostalgic for a time you (probably) didn’t live in. Pancakes are big, fluffy, and cooked just right. Hash browns are shredded and crisp, bacon was very smokey and perfectly cooked, and the menu is pretty expansive. It’s not the cheapest date in Erie, but nothing is anymore, and this restaurant earns it more than any franchise you’ll find.
